CHEF AT HOME SERVICE – I love to cook for people
You can hire me as a private chef to surprise you in a culinary way. It is my goal to unburden you, so that you can enjoy unforgettable good food with your company. As a chef I have a rich wealth of experience. For example, I have worked in several good restaurants, written various cookbooks and I was a TV chef in the Netherlands. I have also provided unforgettable private dinners at the home of many known and unknown people. Now that I live on Mallorca, I like to cook for people.
I can imagine like no other that you don’t just invite a strange cook into your house. After all, you are in (intimate) company and you want someone who feels the flow well and can easily adapt. I work very intuitively. If desired, I provide an explanation at the table for each course. I made the dishes and photos myself and give an idea of what you can expect in terms of style. I can cook very different dishes. From a light meal to a 5-course dinner or a barbecue (vegetarian, fish and/or meat). Everything is possible!
My specialty is: fresh! My strength is to combine the rich flavors of Mediterranean and Asian cuisine. I also enjoy surprising people with beautiful flavours, structures and colours. You can be surprised, but you can also submit your personal wishes for the menu to me.
I think the most important thing is that you and your guests have a nice afternoon/evening with good food. I am flexible and keep my appointments. I myself have a finca near Santa Maria del Cami/Alaró and can move all over Mallorca. I get all my groceries fresh at home and I do most of the preparations in my own kitchen. The best and tastiest fresh ingredients is the basis. I am available for private dinners and retreats from 4 to 12 people.
Indonesian: Sateh, Rendang rice table, Spekkoek with mascarpone and passion fruit.
Thai: Tom kah soup. Pad Thai noodles with chicken. Mango with coconut ice cream.
Mediterranean: Burrata crostini. Tartare (steak, salmon or tuna) baked baby potatoes, salad. Cheesecake, figs and ice cream.
Spanish Tapas and Lebanese Mezze: Sharing dinner on the table or served on a plate. Pastel de nata and ice cream.
Or another menu according to your own taste.
Rates: €75 per hour. Dayprice: €750.
Dinner takes about 10 hours (menu and shopping 3, preparation 3, travel time 1, cooking on location 3). In addition, the costs for the purchase ingredients +€10 to €15 p.p. On request I can also provide beautiful crockery (+€12 p.p.) and/or a matching wine arrangement (+€30 p.p.). Rates excl. VAT.
